Faculty Support Unit
The Faculty support unit encompasses the Faculty Computer Unit, Faculty Resource Centre, Faculty Print Unit and Faculty Technical Support.


• Manchester Computing
  As provider of the University's computing facilities, Manchester Computing is at the forefront of computing technology and, via an extensive campus wide Ethernet network, provides user access to a wide range of information services within departments, the University and on a national and international basis.



• The John Rylands University Library of Manchester
  The John Rylands University Library of Manchester is the third largest university library in the country and a leading provider of electronic information resources and services. As well as its comprehensive printed collections, it has invested heavily in the most advanced electronic resources, which it distributes across the university via computer networks.



• Disabled Students
  We welcome applications from disabled students, who are invited to discuss their needs with the University's Disability Support Officer.



• Health Services
  A range of health facilities are available on campus and there is a Student Health Service which provides nursing facilities and medicals. There is also a separate Counselling Service which aims to give an early response to students seeking help with personal and emotional problems. An Emergency Dental Service is provided by the University Dental Hospital.
