Curriculum Content This course unit comprises the presentation of a wide range of computer and video software used in language teaching and learning with reference to both classroom practice and self-access application. Some experience of the technology is assumed, although it is not expected that participants will have extensive experience of computer use in the classroom. Topics covered in the video component include:
Teaching and learning methods Class-contact sessions will consist of a mixture of teaching and learning modes principally hands-on workshops and seminars. Course unit participants will also be invited to consult the tutor on a one-to-one or small group basis. Distance input will be provided by a combination of print, online and CD ROM materials. A course unit discussion list will provide opportunities for peer exchange and support.
